Simmering. Can You Smell The Garlic?

(I'm sorry, that was cruel.  I'm not really cooking this right now.  But this, this masterpiece is my husband's doing, and it's exactly why I love to eat.  It features vegetables from the gardens of several friends, which makes me think of all of you, my support.)

Yes, it may be quiet here on the blog post wall, but that simply means there are things afoot.  Lots of action, observations and stories have unfolded in just the four days since I've started, and I expect to get something out near the end of this week.  I'm trying the first two items on my 'plan' and I will share the pathetic and silver-lining moments in my next two posts.

I also like the fact that a little tribe of friends (those of you who have commented and emailed me) has formed a circle around me, wanting to do this right alongside my crazy self.  As I've said, you can do it publicly or privately.  I won't judge you.  When I see you, I won't ask for an update unless you want to tell me.
Okay, I have to go.  My daughter needs to be taken to school and has thrown a delay tactic my way....the fort.  She needs me to visit her fort for just one minute.

Thanks for checking in.  Stuff is definitely brewing.
